Re: Install AD Password Sync

Hi,
Yes I did it. I think the problem could be in the inicialization of "oimpwdsync10.dll" file because when I restart the computer, in the log path, there is nothing generated. I tried applying the latest patch but the result was the same. I also checked that SPML was running in OIM and is ok. Could it be influenced by the fact that AD is a trusted resource?

Thank you so much!

Re: Install AD Password Sync

Hi Chinni,
In the log viewer there are a warning messages. The details are:

  <EventID Qualifiers="32772">257</EventID>
  <Level>3</Level>

  </System>
- <EventData>

I don´t know where can I see the log file indicated in Evendata because in "C:\Program Files (x86)\oracle\OIMADPasswordSync\Logs" is empty.

Re: Install AD Password Sync

Thank you Chinni,
I have installed OIM 11.1.2.0 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.3 and Active Directory is in Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Service Pack 1. Do I need to apply patch in OIM?
Thanks!!

Re: Install AD Password Sync

Hi chinna
You can download the AD password sync from
 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/id-mgmt/downloads/connectors-101674.html
Inside connector file you can find the documentation.

If your OIM version is 11.1.2.0 without any bundle patch you will need to install one of them in order to AD password sync work fine.

Hi David,
I installed password sync and it went well while installing and installed successfully.
These all steps I did by docs but the problem is with "post Installation".
how come we can "Configuring the IT Resource for the Target System"
the information they gave is for previous version.
Once I tried changing password for user from AD.
But no effect ??? what to do?

Re: Install AD Password Sync

Hi Chinna,

We can use same password Management connector for all versions. You can follow the steps provided in the document and create IT Resource.

Thanks
